Highlights from the Denver Post…
– Home prices in the Denver area rose in March, April and May, under the Case-Shiller index…although some of that is seasonality.
– Unemployment claims peaked in January.
– The Bloomberg Colorado index, a basket of equities based in the state, bottomed on March 9.
– Car sales saw a big jump in July because of the “cash for clunkers” program.
