Rental Market update
From the Denver Business Journal…"Apartment Vacancies Down, But Rents Up"
Apartments are hard to come by in the Denver area. Vacancy rates fell to 5.9% in the 1st quarter from 7.1% a year ago and from 6.1% in the 4th quarter. The rate is the lowest since 2001, when it hit 4.5% in the 1st quarter.
The average rent was $861.26, up slightly from $842.69.
