At the Greenwich, Connecticut, estate of former Sony executive Tommy Mottola and his wife, pop singer and actress Thalia, interiors firm Katch I.D. equipped the kitchen with a trio of circa-1930 Czech lights from Ann-Morris, cabinetry by Lifetime Design, a range by Wolf, and sink fittings by Michael S. Smith for Kallista.
At Adam Levine’s Hollywood Hills house, designer Mark Haddawy created a stainless-steel kitchen with a table by Florence Knoll and a set of Arne Jacobsen chairs. The vintage light fixture is by Stilnovo, the espresso machine at right is by Miele, the wine cooler below it is by Viking, the sink fittings are by Dornbracht, and the range is by Thermador.
Actor Gerard Butler worked with architect Alexander Gorlin and film designer Elvis Restaino on his loft in Manhattan. The kitchen’s cabinetry and backsplash were fashioned from leftover flooring materials.
Ellen Pompeo’s dream kitchen in Los Angeles, designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, includes a La Cornue range, oven, and cabinetry and a Carrara-marble backsplash. The pendant lights are from Treillage, the custom-made pot rack is by Bullard, and the sink and fittings are by Waterworks.
