Tour a $300,000-a-Month New York City Hotel Suite
A three-bedroom penthouse at the Lowell hotel in Manhattan’s Upper East Side has just entered the rental market. For $300,000 a month, guests can call the 2,900-square-foot space home. Renovated in 2005 by AD100 designer Michael S. Smith, the suite includes four private terraces, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, dining room, and kitchen. Although the penthouse comes fully furnished and has such accoutrements as an Apple desktop computer and five telephones, guests have the option of bringing in their own furniture.
Located on East 63rd Street between Madison and Park avenues, the Lowell is one block east of New York’s Central Park. The monthly rent includes amenities such as dog walking, wireless Internet, twice-daily turndown service, packing and unpacking services, room service (which includes a pet menu), laundry, and dry-cleaning.
When the home isn’t being rented, it can be reserved for $14,000 per night. (Architectural Digest)
